Prebiotics
Prebiotics feed desirable bacteria, mainly in the large intestine.
How prebiotics work:
- bifido bacteria convert them into lactic acid in the large intestine
- they lowers the pH-level in the large intestine
- they have an anti-bacterial effect
- they improve mineral absorption
