When lambs cannot be reared near their mothers, it is advised to feed Sprayfo Lamb.
This is needed in the following cases: 
- lambs without mothers and rejected lambs
- lambs receiving insufficient milk from the ewe
- farms where sheep milk is used for cheese production
- fattening the lamb up to suckling stage
- large offspring
- ewes that lamb more than once a year
- lambs without respiratory destress diseases
After the colostrum period
After the colostrum period, the lambs may change over directly to Sprayfo Lam.
For a smooth transition, the following points of attention are important:
- place the lamb near lambs that already learned how to suckle
- the lamb should not have been with its mother for more than one day. Therewith, no bond is developed yet and the young lamb still has a strong suction craving.
Milk feeding
Milk can be fed via the lamb bar, bottle or drinking machine. The system to be selected depends on the type of farm management.
In practice, the lamb bar is mainly used, in which milk is supplied at ambient temperature ad libitum (in other words: the so-called storage feeding).
